Job Title: Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Profession: Rehabilitation Therapy Specialty: COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Flex schedule: Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday Hours per Shift: 38 hours guaranteed Experience: 0+ years preferred License: Active OTA License Certifications: None specified Must-Have: Strong documentation and time-management skills; flexible and collaborative mindset Description: Seeking a passionate and adaptable Travel COTA for a large, dynamic skilled nursing facility. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The focus is on providing patient-centered care aimed at improving functional independence. Duties include implementing occupational therapy treatment plans for both short-term and long-term residents. Effective communication with the Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary care team is essential. Maintaining compliance with facility policies, Medicare guidelines, and regulatory standards is required. Completing documentation in Net Health per facility standards is necessary. SNF experience is preferred, but mentorship is available for those with 0-1 year of experience.
