Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol in Gadsden, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while using technology to document observations and support daily operations. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.20 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production-area access points, parking areas, offices, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor records, and directing authorized personnel in accordance with site procedures. Document patrols, incidents, unusual conditions, and security-related activities in clear, accurate reports. Minimum Requirements: A guard card or license is preferred. Experience with access control and badge procedures is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
