Join a team that takes pride in its work

Island Restrooms is a family-owned and operated portable restroom company serving all of Southern Florida, with locations in the Florida Keys, Miami-Dade, Broward, the Palm Beaches, and Southwest Florida. For over a decade, we've provided portable toilets and luxury restroom trailers for weddings, events, construction sites, and commercial clients, and we've built our reputation on clean equipment and 5-star service.

That reputation comes from our people. We're a close-knit team that looks out for each other, and leadership knows every team member by name. Steady growth has created an opening for a CDL Tanker Driver at our Palm Beach Depot in Belle Glade.

This is a hands-on role behind the wheel of our new wastewater/septic tanker fleet, and you'll be home every night. If you're an experienced driver looking for consistent, dependable full-time work with a company that takes care of its equipment and its people, we'd like to meet you.

Why you'll love working here

• Home every night. Local routes, no overnight runs.
• Employer-contributed medical insurance , plus dental and vision
• 401(k) with company match
• New, well-maintained tanker fleet
• Overtime opportunities available during busy seasons and events
• Consistent full-time schedule
• Paid time off
• Health savings account (HSA)
• Life and AD&D insurance and disability insurance
• Employee assistance program
• Professional development assistance
• Real growth. Team members who show initiative take on more responsibility and increase their pay over time.
• A supportive team culture at a stable, growing local company

What you'll do

• Safely operate a wastewater/septic tanker to pump holding tanks and portable sanitation equipment, and transport wastewater on assigned routes
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and keep your vehicle in excellent working condition
• Follow all DOT, safety, and company procedures for tanker operation and waste transport
• Give clients and site contacts friendly, professional service on every stop
• Document service activities, mileage, and any equipment issues
• Help with special events and VIP properties as needed

What we're looking for

• Valid CDL (Class A or B) with tanker endorsement
• Clean driving record (required by our insurance and for access to client sites)
• Ability to pass a background check and DOT drug screen
• Comfortable operating vacuum/pump equipment; prior tanker, septic, or vacuum truck experience preferred
• Reliability, integrity, and a strong work ethic
• Attention to detail and pride in clean, well-kept equipment
• Ability to work outdoors in Florida weather and handle physical tasks like lifting, pushing, and pulling
• A team player who's comfortable taking direction
• A plus: willingness to service portable toilets and restroom trailers, or to learn restroom trailer delivery and setup

Please note: A valid CDL with tanker endorsement and a clean driving record are required for this role due to our insurance requirements. Applicants with a suspended, revoked, or cancelled license, or without a tanker endorsement, won't be able to move forward.
